1997

Here it is: Hohe Asch, a hill next to Extertal-Bösingfeld, 371 meters high.
The founding members of the observatory 'Hohe Asch' in November 1997. On the table, a model of the observatory. The model was almost true to detail put into reality.
Still lots of shrubs between look-out and utility shed.
"We introduce ourself" - a promotion in November on the town common.

Its May. We're surveying and setting-out.
View from the look-out.
We're excavating for strip foundation.
The central hole is for the foundation of the telescope's column.
Two layers of formwork blocks complete the foundation.
It's June and the bottom plate has been finished.
